~An Autumn Welcome~

Well, it's been a while since I last posted! We had a fun Summer, ending with my brother's visit from Idaho. :-) The day he left the temperatures dropped, and with a couple exceptions, have been more "Fall-like" since then.

Since it seems Autumn has arrived, I put up our Fall decorations yesterday.

I don't think I have shown any pics of our entryway yet, so thought I'd include this pic of where our "Give Thanks" sign is. ;-)

The "mantle-scape"....

And, our best Fall "decoration"- our new October Glory Maple tree that the boys were helping Ben to plant last night. :-)

I will show more pictures of the tree when it is in all it's deep crimson glory. ;-)
Enjoy the cozy days of Autumn!

Jessica, I answered your question about Lost in Austen in my comment section, but will paste it here in case you don't make it back.

It depends on your viewpoint and what you allow the family to watch. There are no s*x scenes, however one character drinks/gets drunk, one character pretends to be gay, and another actually is (secretly). In a short scene at the beginning, Amanda's mother is smoking and says "decorating is like s*x, but better...". Amanda mentions that she lived with her boyfriend and reference is made to her not being "a maid(en)". I don't recall any bad language specifically, but it's possible that there's an instance or two of "mild" four letter words.
Personally, I would probably let an educated 12-13 yr old watch it if she liked Jane Austen. I don't think boys would want to watch it.
