~Words Around Our House ~

I love using words and letters as decor around the house. Starting with a welcoming sign at the front door. :-) The name of our "cottage" and a little sign that almost everyone ignores. Ha

"As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

"Beatrix Potter" letters in the boys' initials, below.

And just to prove that our house isn't entirely "feminine decor", below are some words found in Ben's masculine study. :-)
" Born to fish; fishing is life; trout, catfish, bass"

This sign was a gift from my youngest sister. Haha

I am joining Richella's "Special Touches" party today. :-)

Your words do add a special touch! Your little signs certainly add to that cottage feel. I think I like those Beatrix Potter letters the best.

Thank you so much for joining my party! It's obvious that you take delight in making your house a real home for your family!

I like words in a home. The house that we just moved from in Florida, I had words on the walls in two different places and I loved it.

I remember you blogging about using baking soda to clean your kitchen. Did it work for your oven and how did you go about it?
