Bridal Shower Tea and Wedding :-)

I just got back from a trip to my home town for my sister's wedding. It was really nice to be able to visit with my family, although the time was far too short, of course.
My youngest sister and I had a lot of fun decorating for the bridal shower tea we gave for our other sister. :-)
My mom brought out lots of linens and sheets and we all got creative.

They helped to disguise the sometimes less than beautiful chairs and tables hiding beneath. Ha

                                                    Mom and Teddy :-)
Everyone seemed to have lots of fun and the bride received many lovely gifts, so we felt the evening was a success. ;-)
                                                      The sisters three...
Our brother, the best man, with the lovely bride. :-)
Our grandma made this exquisite cake. She is so talented!
The happy couple cutting the cake! :-)

Those dresses are just so beautiful, Jessica! And the cake is quite lovely-- I thought it was professionally done at first.

Thanks, Amy. :-)
Yes, Grama makes such beautiful cakes. She made mine, too. She said this is her last, though. :-(

The bridesmaid dresses turned out so lovely! Did you make your dress Jessica? And was the bride's dress handmaid? All the dresses are so pretty and modest, I love that! :)

Glad you and Teddy had a safe trip and a wonderful time! I was praying everything would be perfect for the special day. Thanks for posting photos, I've really enjoyed them!

Thanks, Laurie! :-) Yes, we made our bridesmaid dresses, but the wedding gown was bought at a sale for a VERY good price!

Thanks so much for praying for us! Glad you enjoyed the photos. :-)

Hi Jessica,
What lovely photos! The table and chairs look so cute and all you gals look lovely in your gowns! Your grandmother knows how to decorate a cake! I wish your sister and her new hubby a very happy life. Thank you for sharing with us and thanks for joining me for tea.

Blessings,
Sandi
